New OPC Enterprise Server version V2.10 for the M1 controller
With the M1 OPC Enterprise server, Bachmann electronic offers a standard compliant OPC data access interface in accordance with specifications 1.0, 2.04, 2.05 and 3.0 for the M1 controller family.
The graphical projection surfaces allow comfortable configuration of the controllers as well as free configuration of the access rights to the items. Newly available in the 2.10 version is a comprehensive user management system and various import/export functions in the configuration tool, in addition to the standard simulation modes, integrated test client and diagnostic items.
The high efficiency Ethernet communication to the controller devices in the M1 family, is designed for large distributed applications with high data rates and can be optionally encrypted (SSL Secure Socket Layer). In addition to the purely online values, quality and timestamps can now also be transferred directly from the controller (source timestamp). The interoperability and conformance to the standard is ensured and documented by the OPC foundation's Conformance Tests (CTT).
The latest version is currently undergoing final testing and is still expected to be available in July.
