Bachmann electronic releases M1 webMI pro 2.20
Press release
Flexible, value-added visualization without extra effort
M1 webMI pro offers industrial visualization and operation directly from the M1 controller via a web browser – using a Panel PC, smart device, or office computer. The solution, based on pure-web technology, reduces maintenance and hardware costs and improves ease-of-use for users and project managers.
The newly-released 2.20 is equipped with a number of improvements for enhanced remote operation. A new graphics editor, coupled with an expansion of predefined graphic objects, make project implementation even more user-friendly. These elements are now identical to those of sibling software atvise® scada 3.7, facilitating interchange between the two. An enhanced API to the M1 controller provides comprehensive file and transfer functions, controller setup details, variable and alarm information, and access to real-time data recorders.
As Detlef Sommer of Bachmann's HMI/SCADA product management explains: "At its core is a software process for the modular M1 automation system, developed for retrospective installation – This makes it possible to use the same visualization solution both in higher-level atvise® applications, with atvise® HMI on autonomous Bachmann operator terminals, or directly integrated into the M1 controller, without any additional engineering effort. With pure-web technology visualization, objects can be created once and then reused across all operating levels, regardless of device."
Version 2.20 is now available for customers to download.
