Condition Monitoring expert Bachmann Monitoring has confirmed its recent authorization as an Approved Training Organization by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT).

Bachmann’s newly-approved program is carried out in full accordance with ISO 18436, the International Standard for the qualification of Condition Monitoring practitioners, and allows participants to seek certification as Vibration Analysts. BINDT approval independently verifies the high quality of training delivered by Bachmann and validates its training center to globally-recognized standards.

Participants Successfully Complete Vibration Analysis Training

Bachmann launched the new Approved Training courses in its Rudolstadt Training Center with a vibration analysis course from April 12-16, 2021. In full accordance with COVID-19 protective measures, five participants were able to attend the course in person, which culminated in an external exam.

The syllabus was built around vibration analysis and based on ISO 18436-2. As a level 3 qualification, admission required prior experience of maintenance practices, alternative monitoring techniques and planning methods, as well as in-depth knowledge of multiple vibration analysis techniques.

“We are delighted to receive approval from BINDT,” says David Futter, Product Manager and Approved Training Coordinator at Bachmann Monitoring. “Our initial training week was a great success and we are ready to offer regular, approved courses and BINDT certification examinations to category 2 and 3 of the ISO Standard in addition to our regular training programs for Condition Monitoring professionals.”
