When drive axles are moved, many different parameters are quickly the focus of interest: How quickly will the motor accelerate? What maximum speed will the system reach? And which operating mode should be selected at all?

Motion systems help to move motion axes in a simple way. For example, a single axis can be moved quickly to its desired target position using point-to-point. If required, the motion system can also take over the position control. If several axes are to be moved in a coordinated manner, the motion system calculates the individual movement trajectories and cyclically transmits the resulting target positions to the axes involved. This means that not only applications with speed or position synchronization of rotating axes can be easily implemented. It can also be used to implement main shafts with cyclic repetition of motion sequences or high-precision CNC applications.
