PROFINET® IO (RT)

PROFINET® IO (RT)

  • Operating modes Controller (master), Device (slave) or combined operation
  • Both operating modes certified by the PNO
  • Can be used on all M1 controller CPUs without additional hardware
  • Configuration via SolutionCenter or GSDML file
  • Automatic device configuration with topology detection for quick setup and easy replacement of spare parts
  • Minimum cycle time 1 ms
  • Data rate 10/100/1000 MBit
  • Parallel Ethernet data traffic in the same network possible

Controller

  • Automatic initialization of the stations on startup and when restoring lost connections
  • Neighborhood detection for easy device replacement
  • Representation of the device data in the process image for read and write access
  • Representation of errors and diagnostics data as channel status
  • Function interface for acyclical accesses

Device

  • Exchange of local IO module data with a PROFINET controller
  • I-Device: Exchange of variable values of the user programs with a PROFINET controller for networking intelligent devices
  • Shared device: Parallel access of multiple masters to modules of the slave
  • Supports additional legacy initialization for operation on PROFINET controllers according to older GSDML standards
  • Device naming and issuing of communication settings possible via the PROFINET controller

PROFIsafe F-Host

PROFIsafe F-Host

  • PROFIsafe® is a vendor-neutral functional safety fieldbus which enables safe communication between safe in- and output modules and the safety-CPU SLC284.
  • PROFIsafe® allows the user to integrate a large spectrum of 3rd party PROFIsafe® sensors and actuators into their safety solution along with safety I/O modules provided by Bachmann. This enables a wide range of solutions for safety related applications.
  • Possible Sensors are:

    • Single- or multiturn absolute encoders
    • Light grids
    • Laser scanner
    • Drives
    • Vibration sensors

  • Inclination sensorsThe Bachmann PROFIsafe F-Host allows to connect up to 32 PROFIsafe® F-devices with the SLC284.

PROFIBUS

PROFIBUS

  • PROFIBUS V0 master and slave
  • Multiple networks per controller
  • Support for all baud rates defined in the standard (9.6 to 12 MBaud)
  • Transparent access to I / O and process variables
  • Configuration in the SolutionCenter with standardized GSD files

CAN, CANopen

CAN, CANopen

  • Up to 8 separate CAN networks per controller
  • Convenient application of process data without programming effort
  • Connection monitoring via node guarding and heartbeat
  • Optional nodes, automatic reinitialization after connection loss
  • Synchronous operation of bus and software possible, eg. for motion applications
  • Libraries for access to further service and diagnostic data
  • Event-controlled handling of telegrams
  • Direct processing
  • Tunneled IP communication between M1 controllers via CAN
  • Configuration in SolutionCenter via standardized DCF files
  • Monitors in the SolutionCenter for SDO access, emergency list etc.

EtherCAT® Master

EtherCAT® Master

EtherCAT® Master

  • Software solution for operation on standard controller CPUs
  • Addressing the slaves via autoincrement or alias address
  • Allocating and checking the alias address
  • Supporting optional nodes
  • Supports slaves with distributed clock
  • Synchronization of application programs and fieldbus is possible
  • Cyclical data exchange via PDO mapping
  • Displaying process values as logical I/O modules and in the PLC process image
  • Access to acyclic data (SDO for CoE, ServiceChannel for SoE) via function library
  • Status change of network and slaves via function library
  • Support of the following profiles:

    • CoE (CANopen® over EtherCAT®)
    • SoE (Servo Drive profile over EtherCAT®)
    • FoE (File over EtherCAT®)
    • EoE (Ethernet over EtherCAT®)
    • MDP (Modular Device Profile)

  • Function interface for network and slave status
  • Extensive diagnostics via system variables
  • Quality is ensured through regular participation in Plug-Fests of the ETG

EtherCAT® Configurator

  • Integrated in the Bachmann SolutionCenter
  • Easy creation of an online configuration by means of Busscan
  • Creation of an offline configuration by selecting the slave from a catalog
  • Management of standard-compliant ESI files in the catalog
  • Monitors for process data, SDO access, reading and setting of alias addresses
  • File transfer wizard
  • Subsequently adding, removing and changing the sequence of slaves
  • Targeted search for configuration errors by repeating Busscan also in the event of an error
  • All diagnostic options also via remote maintenance over network boundaries
  • Archiving of configurations in the templates and solutions
