Bachmann CEO Bernhard Zangerl Re-Elected as Chairman for Wind Industry Working Group

We are pleased to announce that Bernhard Zangerl, CEO of the Bachmann Group, has been re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the general meeting of the Wind Industry Working Group (AG Windindustrie), part of the VDMA, in Frankfurt on April 23, 2021.

The AG Windindustrie serves as an information hub and network for the entire mechanical engineering segment of the wind industry, connecting multiple industry partners. The focus of the AG is the further development and competitiveness of the wind industry.

Bernhard Zangerl explains the current challenges facing the industry:

"In addition to the current energy policy developments in Germany, the considerable growth potential worldwide due to the growing global commitment to combating climate change is an important topic for manufacturers and suppliers.

One focus of the AG Windindustrie in the coming months will therefore be particularly on the issue of ensuring the long-term competitiveness of the industry by opening up new markets, as well as innovation-driven technological progress."
