Bachmann electronic releases Smart Power Plant Controller version 1.11

The Smart Power Plant Controller (SPPC) is a VDE-AR-N-4110/4120-certified software solution for the control of multiple power generation units that combine to form a power plant. As a hardware platform for the park controller, Bachmann supplies a high-performance CPU which, combined with grid measurement and protection module GMP232/x, provides an ideal solution for taking readings at the point of common coupling.
For the updated version, energy storage integration has been optimized to significantly simplify the plant’s operation in accordance with the InnAusV (Innovation Tender Regulation DE).
Following multiple customer requests to reduce grid loads in compliance with grid operator specifications, Bachmann has now implemented a power limitation option for charging stations and storage units.
The LFSM function (Limited Frequency Sensitive Mode) has also been expanded specifically for the European market.
In addition to the SPPC‘s aforementioned functions, web-based visualization has been expanded to include the parameterization and configuration of all new features.
The updated version is available to customers with immediate effect.
