Security notice: PHP2Shell – no Bachmann products affected
The “PHP2Shell” security vulnerability is currently receiving a great deal of media attention.
PHP2Shell refers to two critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) in the widely used scripting language PHP, which allow attackers to execute their own code on affected web servers without having to log in. As PHP is used on the vast majority of web servers worldwide, millions of websites are potentially affected.
We have checked our product portfolio and can confirm that no Bachmann products are affected by PHP2Shell. There is therefore no need for you to take any action regarding your Bachmann systems.
