M200 control system now UL6200 certified
More than 100 modules meet standards for the US and Canada – approval granted for complete control system.
The M200 system from Bachmann electronic has now been comprehensively certified according to UL6200. This confirms that Bachmann's control system meets the safety requirements for power generation facilities in the USA and Canada.
In a comprehensive approval process, Bachmann electronic has obtained certification for the UL categories FTPM and FTPM7 (UL6200) for over 100 products in the M200 control system. These include all network measurement, protection, and synchronization modules, the MX2xx and MC2xx CPU families, infrastructure components, and a wide range of analog and digital I/O modules. The type approvals are not only a prerequisite for use by numerous customers in the USA and Canada, but are also essential for OEM manufacturers and system integrators worldwide who wish to export generation units or subordinate components to North America.
