Supervisory Control of Heating Plants

Burkhardt GmbH successfully uses atvise® for the higher-level monitoring of heating plants. Here, atvise® serves as a control center for remote access and aggregates all essential plant data. Various departments, such as development, service and accounting, use the system and can access the plants worldwide via any terminal device. By switching to atvise®, it was possible to centralize various isolated applications (heating plants) and thus achieve better maintainability. The higher-level atvise® solution provides an overview of all plants or of certain plant groups and allows access to the local visualization of the lower-level atvise® instances. Throughout the implementation, attention was paid to user-centric design, SingleSignOn and smartphone capability for emergency services facilitates the use of the new solution. In the future, the solution will continue to be expanded and more and more Burkhardt customers will benefit from the convenient remote access enabled by the use of atvise®.
