With the safety modules for realization of functional safety, Bachmann electronic is setting a clear signal for a holistic and integrated automation solution. The systems presented here not only offer the best-possible safety, they also guarantee continuity and investment protection.
The Safety processor module SLC284, the digital Safety I/O modules SDI208 or SDO204, the Safety counter module SCT202, as well as the Safety analog input module SAI205 make it possible to set up a solution that is integrated in the Bachmann automation system. This solution can be customized and expanded to the individual requirements and complies with the latest safety standards.
For the subsequent security relevant Safety engineering steps the SolutionCenter contains the Safety Developer, which includes all tools required for security relevant programming in accordance with FBD acc. to IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen Safety, and has been developed and certified in close cooperation with TÜV.
